In the summer of 2018 I decided to pursue my lifelong goal of becoming a pilot. After rescheduling several times for weather, I finally completed my checkride and became a private pilot in December 2018.
While working on my instrument rating in late 2019, the Cessna 172 I was flying required an engine rebuild, which was not completed until early 2021, when the coronavirus pandemic began. My training has been suspended, however I plan to resume in mid-2021.
